1GC-Patent loam <br />required to improve deteriorated sites that are producing more woody `- <br />shrubs than normally found in the potential plant community. <br />The Patent soils have generally moderate limitations fur community <br />development and sanitary facilities, and have good potential with <br />only slight limitations for recreation uses. Shrink-swell imposes a ~' <br />r . <br />moderate problem when using this soil for small buildings and for local <br />roads. Slow percolation reduces suitability of this soil as a septic <br />tank absorption field. Seepage and slope moderately limit this soil <br />for sexage lagoons. This soil is unsuited as a source of sand or <br />gravel, but is a good source for topsoil and is a fair source for <br />roadfill. <br />This soil has good potential for cottontail rabbit, mule deer, and <br />many other small burrowing animals.
