Because of the depth of the <br />gravel deposit, it is expected that less than 5 acres will be <br />excavated per year. <br />Mining may extend to 1995 or longer and will occur at two staging <br />areas: <br />Years to <br />Stage Location No. of Acres Direction of Mining Complete <br />Area A East 13.8 West to east 11-23 <br />Area B West 28 Center to east 14-28 <br /> Center to west <br />A total of approximately 3,800,000 tons of sand and gravel is available <br />for removal. The yearly volume is expected to range between 150,000 <br />and 300,000 tons. It is difficult to estimate accurately exact <br />year~y sand and gravel production for a period of 11-28 years because <br />consumer demand and general economic conditions cannot be predicted. <br />Estimates of production, land area disturbance at a given time, and <br />equipment use are made based on the best information currently <br />available. <br />0 <br />Water Diversion and Impoundment <br />No water will be diverted for mining.
