M-86-104, Comment letters
On behalf of our client BSB Excavating, Inc., we will respond in
the same format, to the comment letters from Colorado-Ute Electric
Association, inc and The Colorado Department of Bealth. Enclosed
is a letter from Colorado-Ute Electric Association, Inc dated
September 9, 1986, in which Colorado-Ute state they have no objection
to this operation, we are therefore assuming the letter dated
August 28, 1986 was an information letter. You may have already
received a copy of this letter.
Colorado-Ute Electric Association, Inc
Our thanks to Colorado-Ute for taking the time to comment on
this operation. B&B Excavating is very aware of the necessity to
watch out for the power lines that cross the property. They will
take all necessary steps to keep their employees safe from the
high voltage that this line carries.
1. We have taken the necessary steps to stay at least 50
feet from the base of the towers, as shown on Map Exhibit
D-1, before beginning the slope excavation to the bottom
of the pit.
2. We received the enclosed letter and a copy of their
regulations and will continue to work with Colorado-Ute
when mining under the lines.
