Site Type: Sparse open lithic scatter <br />4. General Site Description: The site consists of twelve flakes, one of which is <br />utilized. Materials include chalcedony, black chert, and the most common, white chert. <br />The site lies on the southeast slope of a low hill that faces an unnamed intermittent <br />drainage. Most of the artifacts were observed in an existing two-track road, <br />indicating that there is a high potential for intact buried deposits. Vegetation on- <br />site includes scrub oak, sagebrush, and wheat grass. <br />5.
