United Companies
proposes to extract all gravel from the deposit at the new BLM pit. This will result in the
floor of the new pit matching the floor elevation that exists at the Ford Pit.
In order to accomplish this result, United Companies proposes that the gravel at both the
new BLM Pit # 1 pit and the gravel that remains at the south boundary of the Ford pit be
removed completely. This means that all gravel will be removed from the property
boundary area. This will create a continuous floor for the Ford pit, the Hall pit and the
new BLM Pit #1. The existing royalty rate will apply to all gravel removed from your
property.
Is this proposal acceptable to you? ~~~.ury`~~ ~i~ ^ ~~
~r
If so, I will have to make a Technical Revision to the Mining and Reclamation Plans that
are in the existing Permit for the Ford Pit. In addition, if this proposal is acceptable can
the barbed wire fence that exists at the south boundary of the Ford Pit be removed to
allow the mining of the gravel at the boundary of the Ford and BLM properties? United
Companies will replace the fence on a temporary basis to allow mining to proceed at the
property boundary. After mining at the property boundary area has been completed,
United Companies will replace the temporary fence with a permanent fence at the
property boundary between your property and the BLM property.
This proposal is similar to what was arranged for removal and replacement of the fence
that was in place at the western boundary of your property prior to mining the Ford Pit.
