Mr. Al Mosch is applying
to change the zoning district on the Snyder Lode Mining Claim, U.S.
Mineral Survey #18647, from Mining-One (M-1) to Planned Development
(PD). His sole reason for the rezoning request is to allow
placement of a two-part sign, 150 square feet per side, to
advertise his mine tours at the Phoenix Mine approximately one mile
away. The proposed Official Development Plan would allow Mr. Mosch
to construct two signs (8 feet high x 18.75 feet wide each) on the
property, located near the junction of Stanley Road and Trail Creek
Road, in addition to continuing the mining uses currently allowed.
I would like to verify that this is allowed under the regulations
of his existing Permit No. M-82-075.
If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 569-3251 ext.
262 or 534-5777 (Denver Line) ext. 262. Written comments should be
sent to: Lisa Leben, Land Use Case Manager, P.O. Box 2000,
Georgetown, CO 60444. Please respond no later than March 10 for
your comments to be placed on record at the Planning Commission's
public hearing on this case.
Thank you.
-~~ ~~
Lisa Leben, Land Use Case Manager
