5.3 OTHER CONSTITUENTS <br />• Field pH values for all sites were very similar. Values ranged from slightly below <br />neutral to slightly above 9 for three pH values at NPDES site 001. A few pH values above <br />9 have been measured in previous years. These values were consistent throughout 1996. <br />Other constituents analyzed showed little change with all minor constituents within their <br />natural ranges. All values addressed in this report above permitted discharge levels have <br />been addressed in the quarterly NPDES discharge reports (DMR's) and justifications for <br />those values, i.e. storm water, snow cover melt-out, etc., have been submitted to the proper <br />regulatory authorities. The iron concentrations observed in 1996 in the surface water for <br />this readily available constituent are all within the natural range for these sites. <br />• <br />~~ <br />5-3 <br />i2-76 <br />~/19~98 <br />
