_. '. ~ •
EXHIBIT H - Wildlife Information
(a) Wildlife found in the area are mule deer, pronghorn antelope,
coyote, red fox, badger, striped skunk, long-tailed weasel,
cottontail and jack rabbits, kangaroo rats, pocket gophers,
deer mice, hawks, owls, and eagles, pheasants, doves, jays,
blackbirds, finches, warblers, sparrows, snakes, lizards,
turtles, and toads.
(b) Most of the species found in the area are residents and use
the area year round. However, many avian species use the area
seasonally for nesting, roosting, and thermal cover.
(c) No threatened or endangered species inhabit the area.
(d) Impacts to wildlife would be temporary in nature. The
increased human disturbance during the mining operation would
move some species out of the area, but it would not be
permanent. There will not be significant long term impacts to
wildlife or wildlife habitat.
Please see attached submittal from this area's conservation officer far
the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
