EXAIBIT B <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />a) Attached map shows the soil characteristics for the area of <br />the propsed operation (Attachment A). Glenberg-Bankard <br />complex, 0 to 1 percent slopes is the direct soil types in the <br />area of the proposed operation. The attached data sheets for <br />Glenberg Series (Attachment B) and Bankard Series <br />(Attachment C) specify characteristics for each soil type. <br />The data sheets also state the vegetation characteristics for <br />each type of soil: 1) Glenberg Series includes pastureland and <br />irrigated cropland. Native vegetation is blue grama, western <br />wheatgrass, bluestem, cottonwood and willows, 2) Bankard <br />Series includes native pastureland and tilled in some <br />locatalities. Native vegetation consists of scattered <br />cottonwood, grass and brush. <br />b) There are no permananent man-made structures within 200 <br />feet of the proposed operation area. <br />c) The attached soil map for the soil characteristics also shows <br />the water resources for the proposed operation area <br />(Attachment A). Smoky Hill River passes nearby the <br />proposed area. Attachment D provides information on flow <br />rates, water table elevations and water quality conditions in <br />the area. <br />d) Wildlife statement prepared by the Colorado Division of <br />Wildlife not required. <br />
