DLyt. 0} N3ILf81 IieSOIlfCv' <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />Brandstadt Rockpit/Gravel-Rock ~4ine, T15S, R95W, 6th PM Sec. 15 SW; NE; <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />Cottontail rabbit, pheasant, mule deer, mourning dove, golden eagle, misc. raptors, <br />misc. songbirds <br />Endangered/critical species/impacted: <br />None <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />The only significant vegetation for wildlife in this area results from a farming <br />operation and the irrigation ditches associated with it. The soil is otherwise <br />dry with a lot of particulate matter exposed. <br />Assessment of impact: <br />Impact will be minimal since little vegetation occurs on the site at present. It <br />lies next to an agricultural area which should not be effected significantly <br />by this operation. <br />fSine Reclamation recommendations (include key specieslhabitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />Landowner plans to convert pit to a feedlot operation for livestock when mining <br />operation ceases.
