6.3.2 1r7QIIT1T B-Site Description
1. This quarry bad provided rock for some of the houses built in the early 1930 or 40. Everett
has uncover some of the top soil off of sandstone for an areas of less than 3 acres. There is
less than ~s acre that has had any rock quarried and most of it still lays within the boundaries
of the quarry. 'We have used some of the rock on houses owned by us.
2. The locarion of the stock tank and pipeline is described in Exhibit L. The tank lays
approximately 40 feet to the west of the quarry and the pipeline runs north froth the tank at
appmxiraates 40 feet from the quarry.
3.
6.3.3 EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan
1. The chopper fines will be packed with a packer and then covered by the topsoil and will not
stick up above the ground. The chopper fines wiU not impact the ability to establish
rangeland vegetative cover.
2. We feel that we can maintain a slope of 3:1 as we quarry the rock.
3. The quarry wiU be able to hold all of the stormwater from the site. The stormwater will not
be discharged from the site.
4. The approximately dimensions for the stormwatet detention sump will be 30 feet going east
to west and 1 l0 feet going north and south. All of the processed and waste rock will be
stored within the quarry boundaries.
5. The dimensions for the only existing road is approximately 10 feet wide. There are no
improvement necessary on the existing mad as it will be used for a ranch road after the
quarry is reclaimed.6.3.4
~,, j, y EXH1Bff D -Reclamation Play
1 We wiU try to follow the recommendation suggested from the division of wildlife. They
suggested that the mine's south facing and east facing bluffs not be entirety backfrlled. This
will provide quail a place to avoid avian predators be protected from the winter's north and
west winds, and find shade in the heat of the day. Deer would also benefit from the bluffs an
use them to get out of the elements. The bluffs also act as a natural windfence to pile won up
on the downwind side., which avill help plants grow. The high-wall beaches will be topsoiled
and revegetabed
~ Some of the vertical high-wall faces will be left exposed.
3 The areas outside the quarry will not be needed to be reclaimed as they will not be disturbed.
All the equipment, rock products and topsoil stock piles will be stored within the boundaries
of the quarry.
4 The reclaimed quarry will not be a pond.
~.g. ,~ l~IiiB1T E mining map
1. rlie~pit boundaries are identified on the map. The pit boundaries will be within the permit
boundaries. All quarrying disturbance will remain within the permit boundaries.
2. We have outline and labeled existing disturbance within the permit boundary. We have no
photograph of previously disturbed areas.
Reclamation man
On the reclamation map there will be a gradual slope to the east. There will be a drop in
elevation of approximately 15 feet from the west side w the east side. The dimension of the
quarry is 615' by 700'.
Z0 3Jtld NOS~tlt 13213lt3 5E45E796St 60:60 900Z/LL/80
