EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />(a) Locate on the map (Exhibit C) tributary watercourses, wells, springs, stock water ponds, <br />reservoirs and ditches <br />This operation is expected to directly affect surface water systems. Please see Exhibit C for <br />location of the: <br />Big Thompson River <br />Irrigation ditch laterals <br />(b) Identify all known aquifers <br />The Big Thompson alluvial aquifer is under this property. <br />(c) Show how water from dewatering operations or runoff from disturbed areas, piled material <br />and operating surfaces will be managed to protect against pollution of either surface or <br />groundwater both during and after the operation <br />Water from the initial dewatering operation and runoff from disturbed areas, piled material <br />and operating surfaces will likely be diverted to settling ponds for detention and cleansing. <br />The resulting outfall will flow into the Big Thompson River pursuant to a Colorado <br />Department of Public Health and Environment dschage (CDPS) permit. <br />(d) Estimate project water requirements including flow rates and annual volumes for the <br />development, mining and reclamation phases of the project. <br />Please refer to the attached tables for projected water requirements. Hall-Irwin has submitted <br />an application for a Temporary Substitute Supply Plan (TSSP) for submittal to the Office of <br />the State Engineer. We will forward a copy of this plan to the DMG upon request. <br />(e) Indicate the projected amounts of the water sources to supply project water requirements <br />Please refer to Table 1 for a chart of projected evaporative and operational water <br />requirements. The operator will use groundwater to supply operational water requirements. <br />It is anticipated that Beeline and Big Thompson and South Platte Ditch water will be used to <br />supply reclamation requirements.
