The formula for determining the quantity of pure live seed (PLS) shall be:
Pounds of Seed (Bulk) xPurity xGermination = Pounds of Pure Live Seed (PLS)
All grass seed famished shall be delivered in sealed bags showing weight, analysis and
vendor's name.
In certain areas where access is limited, seeding maybe accomplished by hand
broadcasting seed over the area. Special care shall be taken to assure the proper seeding
rate is used on these areas. After broadcasting of the seed has been accomplished, the
seed shall be reaked into the soil to a depth of %<" to'/<" and rolled. The seeding mixture
shown above applies at twice the pure live seed (PLS) rate per acre.
Hall-Irwin Corporation Bernhardt Resource Page 2l of 41
MLRB 112 Pemlit Application
