note: rates proposed are for drill seeding, broadcast rate 2x
Bolded common names indicate species identified as potential native vegetation of the area in [he NRCS soil survey
Seed shall meet Colorado Department of Agriculture Seed Laws, Chapter 35, Article 27.
The seeding mixture shall be applied at a pure live seed (PLS) rate per acre per the
drawings. The formula for determining the quantity of pure live seed (PLS) shall be:
Pounds of Seed (Bulk) xPurity xGermination = Pounds of Pure Live Seed (PLS)
All grass seed famished shall be delivered in sealed bags showing weight, analysis and
vendor's name.
In certain areas where access is limited, seeding maybe accomplished by hand
broadcasting seed over the area. Special care shall be taken to assure the proper seeding
rate is used on these areas. After broadcasting of the seed has been accomplished, the
seed shall be reaked into the soil to a depth of %<" to'/<" and rolled. The seeding mixture
shown above applies at twice the pure live seed (PLS) rate per acre.
