• This flow depth was used in calculating the 009 spoil flow discharging to the Sage Creek
alluvium. An alluvial saturated thickness in Sage Creek of 15 feet was determined at
Alluvial Well CW-52W-21A, which was installed immediately downstream of the confluence of
009 tributary and Sage Creek. The hydraulic gradient for the 009 tributary alluvium was
assumed the same as the surface topography. The hydraulic gradient for the Sage Creek
alluvial aquifer was based on water levels measured at USCS Alluvial Well Al-A13 in upper
Sage Creek. An alluvial hydraulic conductivity value of 0.02 was assumed for both 009
tributary and Sage Creek.
The following equations present the premi ning and postmini ng chemical load and TDS
concentration changes as a result of the spoil aquifer discharging into the downg radient
alluvial aquifers, which in turn discharge into other confluent downgradient alluvial
aquifers.
Dry Creek Alluvial System Premi ning:
006 Trib.
