<br />This product may be used as apost-directed spiny around established woody
<br />ornamental species such as arborvitae, azalea, boxwood, crabapple, eucalyptus,
<br />euonymus, fv, Douglas Br, jojoba, hollies, lilac, magnolia, maple, oak, poplar,
<br />privet. pine, spmce and yew. This product may also be used to trim and edge
<br />around trees, buildings, sidewalks and roads, potted plants and other objects im a
<br />nursery setting.
<br />Deshable plants may be protected firm the spiny solution by using shields or
<br />coverings made of cardboard or other impermeable material. LrNLESS OTH-
<br />ERWISE DIRECTED, THIS PRODUCP IS N07 RECOMMENDED FOR USE
<br />AS AN OVER•THE-TOP BROADCAST SPRAY IId ORNAMENTALS AND

<br />Site Preparation
<br />This product may be used prior to planting any omamenml, nursery or Christmas
<br />tree species.
<br />Wiper Applications
<br />This produR tray be used through wick or other suitable wiper applicators m
<br />control or partialty control undestrable vegetation around esmblished eucalyptus
<br />or poplar vets. See the "Selective Equipment" section of this label for further
<br />information about the proper use of wiper applicators.
<br />Greenhouse/Shadehouse
<br />This product may be used to control weeds growing in and around greenhouses

<br />123 Chemical Mowing
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product will suppress some annual and perennial
<br />grasses listed in this section to serve as a shbstitu[e for mowing.
<br />Chemical Mowing-Perennials
<br />Use 6 fluid ounces of this product per acre when treating Kentucky bluegrass.
<br />Use 8 fluid ounces of this product per acre when treating tall fescue, fine fescue,
<br />orehardgraw, bahiagrass or quackgmss covers. Use 16 fluid ounces of this product
<br />per arc when treating Bermudagrass. Use r>4 fluid ounces of this product per acrz
<br />whrn treating torpedograss or paragrass. Apply treaanrnm io 10 to 20 gallons
<br />of spray solution per acre. Use only in areas where some temporary injury or
<br />discoloration of perennial grasses can be tolerated.
<br />Chemical Mowing-Annuals
<br />For growth suppression of some annual grasses, such as annual ryegrass, wild
<br />barky and wild oats growing in coarse turf on roadsides or other industrial areas,
<br />apply 4 m 5 fluid ounces of this product in ]0 to 40 gallons of spray solution
<br />per acre. Applications should be made when annual grasses are actively growing
<br />and before the seedheads are m the boot stage of development. Treatments may
<br />cause injury to the desired grosses.
<br />Bromrts Species and Medusahead in Pastures and Rangelands
<br />Bromus species. This product may be used m treat downy brome (Bromus
<br />tectorvmj, Japanese brome (Bromus japonicvsj, soft chess (Bromvs mol(ls) and
<br />cheatgrass Bromus seca/rnusj found in industrial, rangeland stud pasture sites.
<br />Apply 8 to 16 fluid ounces of this product per acre on a broadcast basis.
<br />For best results, treatment should coincide with early seedhcad emergrnce of the
<br />most mature plants. Delaying the applicadon until this growth stage will maximize
<br />the emergence of other weedy grass flushes. Applications should be made to the
<br />same site each year until seed banks arc depleted and the desirable perennial
<br />grasses ran become reestablished on [he site.
<br />Medusahead. 7o treat medusahead, apply 16 fluid ounces of this product per acre
<br />es soon as plants are actvely growing, and prior m the 4-leaf stage. Applications
<br />may be made in the fall or spring.
<br />Applications to brome and medusahead may be made using ground or aerial
<br />equipment. Aerial applications for these uses may be made using fixed wing or
<br />helicopter equipment For aerial applications, apply in 2 to ]0 gallons of water
<br />per acre. For applications using ground equipment, apply in 10 to 20 gallons of

<br />restrictions.
<br />Dormant Turfgrass
<br />This product may be used to con Vol or suppress many winter annual weeds and
<br />tall fescue for <ffecdve release of dormant Bermudagrass and bahiagmss turf.
<br />Treat only when turf is dormant and prior to spring grcenup.
<br />Apply 8 to 64 fluid ounces of this product per atte. Apply the recommended
<br />rates in I O to 40 gallons of water per acre. Use only in areas where Berroudagmss
<br />or bahiagrass arc desirable ground covers and where some temporary injury or
<br />discolomtimn can be tolerated.
<br />Treatments in excess of 16 Buid ounces per acre may result in injury or delayed
<br />grecnup in highy maintained areas, such as golf courses end lawns. DO NOT
<br />apply tank mixtures of dtis product plus Oust or Outriders herbicide in highly
<br />maintained mrfgmss areas. For further uses, refer to the "Roadsides" section of
<br />this label, which gives rates for dormant Bermudagrass end bahiagrass treatments.
<br />Actively Growing Bermudagrass
<br />This product may be used to control or partially control many annual and perennial
<br />weeds for effective release of actively growing Bermudagmss. DO NOT apply
<br />more than 16 fluid ounces of this product per acre in highly maintained turfgrass
<br />areas. DONOT apply tank mixtures of this productplus Oust in highly maintained
<br />Nrfgrass areas. For further uses, refer to the "Roadsides" section of this label,
<br />which gives rates for actively growing Bermudegmss treatments. Use only in
<br />azeas where some temporary injury or discoloration can be mlerated.
<br />12.4 Turfgrass Renovation, Seed or Sod Production
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product controls mast existing vegetation prior m
<br />innovating mrfgrass areas or establishing mrfgmss grown for tied or sod. For
<br />maximum control of existing vegetation, delay planting or sodding to determine
<br />if any regrowOt from escaped underground plant parts occurs. Where repeat treat-
<br />ments are necessary, sufficient regrowth must be attained prior to application. For
<br />warn-season grasses such as Bernudagmss, summer or fall applications provide
<br />the best control. Where existing vegemtion is growing under mowed mrfgrass
<br />~ management, appy [his product after omitting at leas[ one regular mowing to
<br />'~ allow sufficient growth for good interception of the spray.
<br />Desirable turfgrasses may be planted following the above procedures.
<br />Hand-held equipment may be used for spot treatmrnt of unwanted vegetation
<br />growing in existing turfgrass. Broadcast or hand-held equipment may be used to
<br />control sod remnants or other unwanted vegetation after sod is harvested.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Do no[ disturb soil or underground~lantparts
<br />before treatment. Tillage or renovation techniques such as vertical mowing, conng
<br />or slicing should be delayed for 7 days after application to allow translocation
<br />into underground plant parts. Do not feed or gran turfgmss grown for seed or
<br />sod producdon for 8 weeks following application.
<br />125 Cut Stumps
<br />TYPES OF APPLICATION: Treating wt stumps in any non-crop site listed on
<br />-this label.
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product will control regrowth of cut stumps and
<br />resproum of many types of woody brash and tree species, some of which arc
<br />listed below. Apply this product using suitable equipment to ensure coverage of
<br />the entire cambium. Cut trees or resproum close to the soil surface. Apply a
<br />50 to 100 percent solution of this product to the ficshly cut surface immediately
<br />after cutting. Delays ih application rosy result in reduced performance. For best
<br />resulq applications should be made during periods of acvv< growth and fu- leaf
<br />expansion.

<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS; Do not make cut stump applications when
<br />the roots of desirable woody brash or veer may be grafted m the roots of the cut
<br />stump. Some sproum, stems, or trees may share the same mot system, Adjacrnt
<br />bees having a dimilar age, height and spacing may signal shared roots. Whether
<br />grafted or shared, injury is likely to occur to non-treated stemshrees when one or
<br />more trees sharing common toots are treated.
<br />12.6 Habitat Management
<br />TYPES OF USES: Habitat Restoration and Maintenance, Wildlife Food Plots.
<br />Habitat Restoration and Maintenance
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be used to control exotic end other
<br />undesirable vegemtion in habitat management areas. Applications can be made to
<br />allow recovery of native plant species, prior m plamting desirable native species,
<br />and for similar broad-spectmm vegemtimn control requirements in habitat manage-
<br />ment areas. Spot treatments can be made to selectively remove unwanted plants
<br />for habitat maintenance and enhancement.
<br />Wildlife Food Plots
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be used as a site preparation treatrnent
<br />to control annual and perennial weeds prior [o planting wildlife food plots. Any
<br />wildlife food species may be planted after applying this product. or native speci
<br />may be allowed to repopulate the area. !f tillage is needed to prepare a seedbe
