<br />Chemical Fallow
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be apphed during the fallow period
<br />prior to planting or emergence of any crap listed on this label. This product may
<br />bt used az a substiNte for tillage to control annual weeds in fallow fields. Also,
<br />broadcast or spot treatments will control or suppress many perennial weeds in
<br />fallow fields. Ground or aerial application cquipmentmay be used. Tank mixtures
<br />with 2,4-D and dicamba may be uud. Applicadons up N 2 quarts per acre may
<br />be made by aerial application in falow sites where there is sufficient buffer to
<br />prevent injury due N drift onto adjacent crops.
<br />.PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: For any crop not listed on this label, appli-
<br />cations must be made at least 30 days prior to planting. Do not apply dicamba
<br />rank mixtures by air in California. '
<br />Refer m the specific product labels far crop rotation restrictions and cautionary
<br />sm[ements of all products used in rank mixNres. Some crop injury may occur if
<br />dicamba is applied within 45 days of planting.
<br />Preplant Fallow Beds
<br />USE INSTRUCTTONS: This product may be applitd to fallow beds prior to
<br />planting or emergence of any crop listed on this label. For any crop not Ested
<br />on this label, applications must be made a[ least 30 days prior to planting. This
<br />product will control weeds listed in the "ANNUAL WEEDS", "PERENNIAL
<br />WEEDS", and "WOODY BRUSH AND TREES RATE TABLES" sections of
<br />this label.
<br />TANK MIXTURES: In addition, 12 fluid ounces of this product plus 2 N 3
<br />fluid ounces of Goals 2XL per acre will control the following weeds with the
<br />maximum height or length indicated: 3inches-common cheueweed, chickweed,
<br />groundsel; 6inches-London rocket, shepherd's-purse.
<br />16 Buid ounces of this product plus 2 to 3 fluid ounces of Goal 2XL per acre
<br />will control the following weeds with the maximum height or length Ndicated:
<br />6 inches~ommoa chceseweed, groundsel, marestail (Conlza canadensis), ]2
<br />inches-chickweed, London rocket, shepherd's-purse.
<br />Aid-to-Tillage
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be used in conjunction with tillage
<br />practices in Eal]ow systems or prcplant to labeled crops N control downy brome,
<br />chess volunteer wheat, tansy mustard and foxmil. Apply 12 fluid ounces of Nis
<br />product in 3 to 10 gallons of water per acre. Make applications before weeds arc
<br />6 inches in height Application must be followed by conventional tillage pmetices
<br />no later than 15 days after treatrnrnt and before regrowth ocwrs. Allow at least
<br />1 day after applicaton before tillage.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Tank mixtures with residual herbicides may
<br />result in reduced performance.
<br />8.5 Grain Sorghum (halo)
<br />TYPES OF APPLICATIONS: Those listed in Section 8.0 plus the following: Spot
<br />7rtatment, Over-the-Top Wiper Applications, Prcharvest.
<br />Preplant, Preemergency Ai-Planting,
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be applied alone or in tank-mixNre
<br />before, during or after planting groin sorghum. Applications must be made prior
<br />to emergence of the crop.
<br />TANK MIXTURES: This product may be tank mixed with the following products
<br />provided that the specific product is registered for application prior [o planting
<br />grain sorghum. Apply these tank mixmms in ]0 to 20 gallons of water or ]0 N
<br />60 gallons of nitrogen solution per acre,

<br />For difficult-tocontrol annual weeds such az fall panicum, bamyardgmss, crab-
<br />grass, shattercane and broadleaf signalgmss up to 2 inches tall, and Pennsylvania
<br />smartweed up to 6 inches tall, apply this product at 2 pints per acre in thcu rank
<br />mixtures. For other labeled annual weeds, apply 1 S m 2 pints of this product per
<br />acre when weeds arc less than 6 inches ralL, and 2 to 3 pints when weeds are over
<br />6 inches tall. When using nitrogen solutions as the tamer, the use rate may need
<br />N be increased for accepmble weed control.
<br />Spat Treaimeat, Over-the-Top Wiper Applications
<br />USE INSTRUCT10N5: This product maybe applied as a spot treatment m grain
<br />sorghum. Make spot treatments before heading of mild. This product may be
<br />applied with wiper applicators N conrol or suppress the weeds Gs[ed under
<br />"Wiper Applicators" in the "Selective Equipment" section of this Iabe1
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: For spot treatment, do not treat more than ]0
<br />percent of the total field arts to be harvested. Tht crop receiving spray m treated
<br />area will be killed. Take care m avoid drift or spiny outside target area for the
<br />same rwson.
<br />For wiper applicamrs, allow at least 40 days between application and harvest Do
<br />not zest roller applicators. Do no[ feed or graze treated ratio fodder. Do not ensile
<br />treated vegem[on.
<br />Hooded Sprayers
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be used through hooded spmyers for
<br />weed control between the rows of ratio. Only hooded spayers that completely
<br />enclose [he spiny pattern may bt used. Sce additional inswction for the use of
<br />hooded spmyers m the "APPLICATION EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES"
<br />secdon of this label.
<br />Crop injury may occur when the foliage of treated weeds comes into direct contact
<br />with (eaves of the crop. Do not apply this product when the leaves of [he crop
<br />are growing in direct contact with weeds to be Vested. Droplets, mist, foam or

<br />splatter of the herbicide solution may contact the crop and cause discoloration,
<br />stunting or desWCtion.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Milo must be a[ least 12 inches NE, measured
<br />without extending leaves. Treat before milo sends tillers between the dri0 rows.
<br />If such tillers are contacted with the spiny solution, the main plant may be killed.
<br />Contact of [his product in any manner to any vegemtion to which treatment is
<br />mot intended may cause damage. Such damage shall be the sole responsibility of
<br />the applicator. Do not graze or feed milo forage or fodder following applications
<br />of this product through hooded spmyers. Do not apply more than 1 quart of this
<br />product per acre per application and no more than 3 quarts per acre per year for
<br />hooded sprayer applications.
<br />Preharvest
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: Make applications at 30 percent grain moisNre or less.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Do not apply more than 2 quarts of this
<br />product per acre. As with other herbicides that cause sudden plant death, avoid
<br />prcharvest applications of this product N milo infected with charcoal rotas lodging
<br />can occur. Allow a minimum of 7 days between application and harvest, feeding,
<br />or grazing of sorghum. Preharvest apphcation is not recommended for sorghum
<br />grown for seed, az a reduction in germination or vigor may occur. The use of
<br />this product for prcharvest groin sorghum (ratio) is not registered in California.
<br />Post-Harvest
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: This product may be applitd after harvest of groin
<br />sorghum. Higher rotes may be required for control of large weeds which were
<br />growing in the crop at the time of harvest. lank mixtures with 2,4-D or dicamba
<br />may be used.
<br />This product may be applitd to grain sorghum (ratio) aNbbh following harvest to
<br />suppress or control regrowth. Apply 1 quart of this product per acre for control,
<br />err 1 S pints of this product per acre for suppression.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Allow a minimum of 7 days between trtat-
<br />mcnt and harvest or feeding of treated vegetation.
<br />8.6 Herbs and Spices
<br />LABELED CROPS: Allspice, Angelica, Star anise, Annatto (seed), Balm, Basil,

<br />TYPES OF APPLICATTONS: Those Bsted in Section 8.0 phu the following: Over-

<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: When applying this product prior ~ta trans-
<br />pUnting ordirect-seeding crops inN plaztic mulch, care must be Nkrn to remove
<br />residues of this product, which could cause crop injury, from [ht plastic prior
<br />[o planting. Residues can be removed by a single 0.5-inch application of water,
<br />tither by naNral rainfall or via a sprinkler 5ys[em. Care should be taken to ensure
<br />that the water Bushes off ilre plastic mulch and does not enter the transphmt holes.
<br />For some crops below, i[ is recommended to make applications 3 days before
<br />transplanting or planting.
<br />Over-the-Top Wiper Applications or Spot Treatmenu
<br />(Peppermint and Spearmint only)
<br />USE WSTRUG710NS: This product may be used as a spot treatmrnt or wiper
<br />application in spearmint and peppermint Apply spot ueatmrnrs on a spiny-to-wet
<br />basis with hand-held equipment, such as backpack and knapsack spmyers, pump-
<br />up pressure spmyers, hand-guns, hand-wands or any other hand-held or motorized
<br />spiny equipment used to direct the spiny solution to a Bmited area. In wiper
<br />applications, the applicator should be adjusted so that the wiper contact point is
<br />at least 2 inches above the crop. Weeds should be a minimum of 6 inches taller
<br />than the crop.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICT]ONS: Allow at ]east 7 days between application and
<br />harvest. Further applications may be made in the same area a[ 30-day intervals.
<br />In spot treatment applications, no more than 1D percent of the iota] field area to
<br />be harvested should be treated a[ one time. The crop receiving spray in the treated
<br />area will be killed. Take cam m avoid drifr or spray outside the target wren fm
<br />this reason. In wiper applications, conmet of the herbicide solution with the crop
<br />may result in damage or deswction.
<br />8.7 Oil Seed Crops
<br />LABELED CROPS: Bomge, Buffalo gourd (seed), Canola, Cmmbq Flax, ]ojoba,
<br />Lesquerella, Meadowfoam, Mustard (seed), Rape, Safflower, Sesame, Sunflower.
