Agriculturally approved <br />spiny additives, such as surfactants or oils, may be used to enhance spiny coverage <br />and the herbicide's penetration of weed fdliage. Sec Cropping restrictions for <br />rccammended interval between application and planting m prevent crop injury. <br />Far best performance, make application when ANNUAL wttds are less than 6 <br />inches tall, when BIENNIAL weeds are in the rosette stage and to PERENNIAL <br />weed regrowth in late summer or fall following a mowing of tillage treatment. <br />Most effective control of upright perennial broadleafweeds, such as Canada thistle <br />end Jemsalem artichoke, occurs if application is made when the majority ofweeds, <br />such as field bindweed and hedge bindweed, are in or beyond the full bloom singe. <br />Avoid disturbing treated areas following application. Treatments may not kill <br />weeds which develop from seed or underground plant parts, such as rhizomes or <br />bulblets, after the effective period for BANVEL. For seedling control, afollow-up <br />program or other catmint pmetices could be insdmmd.
