established Percmial gmss. DO NOT APPLY AFTER THE GRASS SEED CROP
BEGINS TO JOINT. Far best performance, make applicarions when weeds arc
in the 2-4 leaf stage and rosettes ere less than 2 inches across. Use the higher
level of listed rote mngu when treating mom mamre weeds or dense vegemtivc
growth.
TANK MIX TREATMENTS
For control of grosses or additional broadleafweeds,BRNVEL may be tank mixed
WEEDS CONTROLLED
BANVEL maybe applied alone or o mnk mix combinations with other herbicides
registered for this use.
BANVEL can be applied either POST HARVEST in the. fall, spring or sum-
mer during the FALLOW period or to CROP STUBBLE/SET-A-SIDE acre.
BANVEL, when applied a[ the recommended rotes, will control many ANNUAL
broadleaf weeds; see [he WEEDS CONTROLLED section under small groins.
In addition, BANVEL wi6 control or suppress the following BIENNIAL and
PERENNIAL broadleaf weeds:
Apply BANVEL as a broadcast or spot treatment to emerged and acfively growing
weeds after crop harvest (post harvest) and before a killing frost or in Ott fallow
cropland or crop stubble the following spring or summer. Agriculturally approved
spiny additives, such as surfactants or oils, may be used to enhance spiny coverage
and the herbicide's penetration of weed fdliage. Sec Cropping restrictions for
rccammended interval between application and planting m prevent crop injury.
Far best performance, make application when ANNUAL wttds are less than 6
inches tall, when BIENNIAL weeds are in the rosette stage and to PERENNIAL
weed regrowth in late summer or fall following a mowing of tillage treatment.
Most effective control of upright perennial broadleafweeds, such as Canada thistle
end Jemsalem artichoke, occurs if application is made when the majority ofweeds,
such as field bindweed and hedge bindweed, are in or beyond the full bloom singe.
Avoid disturbing treated areas following application. Treatments may not kill
weeds which develop from seed or underground plant parts, such as rhizomes or
bulblets, after the effective period for BANVEL. For seedling control, afollow-up
program or other catmint pmetices could be insdmmd. For small grain in<rop
uses of BANVEL, see the RATES AND TIMINGS section under the SMALL
