E)\7ERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />• This plan is provided for quick response to spillage and control to hazardous or toxic chemicals, including <br />petroleum waste products. Included is the response to fires of these materials. <br />FTRST RESPONDER <br />1. Contact the shop foreman lemergency coordinator) al phone extension 520 or 573; or use <br />radio call to 520. If shop foreman is unavailable, contact mine foreman at radio unit 440; <br />phone 440. <br />2. Secure the area. >n case of fire, use fire protection equipment to protect yourself and fellow <br />employees. <br />EMERGENCY COORDINATOR <br />] . )n case of a spill of hazardous material or petroleum products, contain the spill immediately. <br />Correct the source of release and clean up the released materials and all residues. Use the <br />containment materials provided at the filter storage area <br />2. in case of fire of hazardous material or petroleum products, contact the Craig Fire <br />Department at 911. <br />3. Call out the rescue squad if required. <br />4. Notify the Facility Emergency Coordinator, Karl Koehler, radio unit 143, phone 143, home <br />• phone 276-3780. If no answer, contact Forrest Luke, radio unit 140, phone 140, home phone <br />824-2871. <br />5. If required, notify Safety Manager, Frank Self, radio number 122, phone extension 122, home <br />phone 824-9239. <br />6. If required, notify Maintenance Manager, radio number 500, phone extension 500. <br />FACILITY EMERGENCY COORDINATOR <br />1. Assist Emergency Coordinator in controlling the emergency response and cleanup of the spill <br />and disposal of wastes. <br />2. Contact Manager of Environmental Quality, Maintenance Manager and President & General <br />Manager. <br />3. Notify appropriate local. state and federal emergency response authorities as required. <br />4. Complete action as outlined in the SPCC Plan and Contingency Plan. <br />MANAGER OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY /PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER <br />1. Notify the Regional Administrator and appropriate local and state authorities. <br />2.
