Shuey, Environmental Protection Specialist ~Tf ~f S SS <br />RE: Chevron Shale Oil Company, a division of Chevron USA, Inc., North Cleaz Creek Construction <br />Materials Mine, File No. M-2006-039 <br />Please be advised that on June 22, 2006, Chevron Shale Oil Company, a division of Chevron USA, Inc., whose address <br />and telephone number are 11111 South Wilcrest, Houston, TX 77099; (281) 561-3687, filed an application to conduct <br />extraction of construction materials and reclamation, at or neaz Section 4 ,Township 5 S, Range 98W, 6th Prime <br />Meridian, in Garfield County. Please be advised that the permit area maybe located in more than one Section, Township, <br />and Range. The application decision is scheduled for July 24, 2006. <br />A copy of the application is available for review, unless you receive a CD, at the Garfield County Clerk & Recorder's <br />office and at the office of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado <br />80203. <br />If you desire to make comments or objections of the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted <br />within ten (10) days of the date of the newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date.
