• <br />EXHIBIT E <br />Reclamation Plan <br />The mining operation will be conducted in a manner to <br />preserve the existing road with a slope to the new level con- <br />forming to existing slopes at the end of shelves (approx 2:1). <br />The road will be widened slightly and graded to provide a better <br />surface. <br />If current "topsoil" is economically salvageable it will <br />be set aside for use in reclamation. In any event equivalent <br />topsoil will be placed on the reclaimed surface to provide <br />coverage aL least equal to the present coverage. Also grading <br />will be accomplished to provide maximum ease of irrigation of <br />reclaimed land. <br />Several varieties of grass seed will be broadcast. The <br />mix of seed will be in agreement with recommendations of the Soil <br />Conservation Service. The existing surface has never been <br />fertilized except by the effects of grazing. Consideration <br />will be given to the use of fertilizers approved by the Soil <br />Conservation Service. <br />Although the bonding specified in this application, which <br />will be the responsibility of the gravel. operator in the amount <br />of approximately $)300.00 per acre, the landowner will supple- <br />ment this amount to accomplish the physical appearance of the <br />area after completion of reclamation to be, at worst, equal to <br />present appearance. <br />
