Section 779.15(a) Continued. <br />• <br />Revised 11/20/80 <br />Kerr Tipple Area Hydrology, produces non-tributary water from a <br />confined sandstone layer 11 feet thick at a depth of 115 feet. The <br />well 3s used for industrial, commercial and domestic purposes. <br />The quality of water in the alluvium is similar to that of surface 4,~ <br />water in the tipple area because ground and surface water are;,,f~ <br />intermixed in the marsh. The water is generally a calcium- <br />bicarbonate type and contains small amounts of iron, magnesium, <br />sulfate, and nitrogen: The concentration of specific constituents <br />in the alluvial water is presented in Table 10, Kerr Tipple Area <br />Water Quality Data. <br />(b) The application shall contain additional information which des- <br />cribes the recharge, storage, and discharge characteristics of aquifers <br />. and the quality and quantity of ground water, according to the para- <br />meters and in the detail required by the regulatory authority. <br />• <br />779-33 bb <br />
