Durham <br />11427 South Tomah Street <br />Phoenix, Arizona 85044 <br />I represent Mr. Walter W. Doeringsfeld who presently resides at 11427 <br />South Tomah Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85044. I represent, together with <br />Mr. Doeringsfeld, the other owners of the Durham Sand and Gravel Pit as <br />well. Mr. Doeringsfeld has reviewed your Notice of Inspection and <br />Inspection Report dated April 11, 1984 in connection with matters <br />pertaining to the Durham Sand and Gravel Pit located in Weld County, <br />Colorado. <br />This letter shall serve to confirm that no active mining operations are <br />presently taking place at the Durham Sand and Gravel Pit, nor have the <br />owners and operators thereof presently obtained a bond for utilization <br />of this particular sand and gravel site. It is necessary to indicate <br />that Mr. Doeringsfeld and the others, as owners and operators of the <br />Durham Sand and Gravel Pit, do, in fact, intend to bond and mine this <br />particular site. In view of the current economic conditions, and <br />particularly in view of the slowdown in real estate construction, no <br />definite plans have been formulated as to when active mining operations <br />will occur at the above described location. <br />Mr. Doeringsfeld has requested that I advise you that he does not <br />request that his application be terminated, but quite to the contrary, <br />that it be retained on file as an active application for the purpose of <br />commencement of mining operations. <br />V truly ou s, <br />MELVIN DINNER <br />MD/as <br />cc: Pir.
