`'
Mined Land Reclamation Page 2 February 22, 1982
stations. Sixteen conduit centerline markers made of four inch steel
pipe extending four feet above ground level are spaced every 500 feet
along the right-of-way. A buried 12-pair telemetry cable located four
feet west of the centerline of the conduit, three feet deep with two
underground concrete manholes buried with a minimum of 0.5 feet of cover.
Fountain Valley Authority and the City of Colorado Springs share 50 feet
of the easement for the 115KV power line and through negotiation by the
Bureau of Reclamation, an additional 10 feet of easement was procurred
from the individual property owners to provide the Fountain Valley
Authority with a permanent easement of 60 feet for the conduit.
In addition to the Fountain Valley conduit and telemetry system, the
easement contains a 115KV power line and a 10-inch Fountain pump line,
both of which are owned by the City of Colorado Springs.
The Fountain pump line supplies water to the City of Fountain water
storage tank located in the northwest corner of Section 18. The pump
line crosses the north half of Section 19 and for a short distance across
Section 18 on a separate 25-foot easement before it intersects the 100-foot
easement of the 115KV power line.
Sincerely,
Charles R. Sdeir
Project Superintendent
Fountain Valley Authority
CRW:mvp
