eh <br />ESPEY, HUSTON &ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />• <br />A12 4 to 18 inches; brown -dark brown (7.5YR 4/4) channery silt <br />loam, dazk brown (75YR 3/2) moist; weak fine to medium <br />granulaz structure; non-sticky and slightly plastic, soft, very <br />friable; non-calcareous; many fine roots and common medium <br />roots; 30 percent charmers; cleaz smooth boundazy. <br />B2 18 to 31 inches; reddish brown (SYR 4/3) channery loam, dark <br />reddish brown (5YR 3/3) moist; weak medium subangulaz <br />blocky structure; non-sticky and slightly plastic, loose; aon- <br />calcareous; common fine and medium roots; 30 percent <br />charmers, 30 percent angulaz cobbles, and 10 percent angulaz <br />stones; gradual smooth boundary. <br />Cca 31 to 59 inches; yellowish red (SYR 4/6) very channery sandy <br />• loam, yellowish red (SYR 4/6) moist; non-sticky and non- <br />plastic; strongly calcazeous with stage III lime pendants on <br />charmers; 50 percent charmers, 5 percent angulaz cobbles, and <br />5 percent angulaz stones. <br />These soils have moderately rapid permeability. Vegetation is sagebrush. <br />RHONE SERIES <br />Described Pedon: Rhone loam, native rangeland. (Colors are for dry soil unless <br />otherwise noted.) <br />A 0 to 8 inches; grayish brown (lOYR 5/2) silty clay loam, very <br />dazk grayish brown (lOYR 3/2) moist; moderate fine granular <br />structure; soft, friable, sticky and plastic; common fine <br />roots; cleaz smooth boundary. <br />• <br />
