ATLANTIC RICHFIELD is the Lessee under the following <br />decribed federal coal leases: (1) Coal Lease bearing Serial No. <br />D-049569, issued by the United States of America as Lessor to Tony <br />Bear as original Lessee, dated August 30, 1934, as extended and <br />modified embracing the lands included in the Mining Area hereinafter <br />described, located in Gunnison County, Colorado; and (2) Coal Lease <br />bearing Serial No. C-0117192, issued by the United States of America <br />as Lessor to Harrison Eiteljorg as original Lessee, dated June 1, <br />1965, as extended and modified, embracing the lands included in the <br />mining Area hereinafter described, located in Gunnison County, <br />Colorado. The above federal coal leases are collectively referred <br />to herein as the "Coal Leases". <br />B.
