Tapaoil stockpiles remaining for more than one
will be planted with a perennial grass cover.
C. As requested, a 100 foot undisturbed buffer zone will I
maintained between the pit and the stream.
2. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
a. The lake portions of the reclaimed area will be avai
to wildlife.
b. Mulch will be used on 3 to 1 elopes.
c. A soils test will be accomplished prior to seeding in
to establish fertilizer needs.
d. Grazing will be prohibited until vegetation has had an
opportunity to establish.
refer-
season
re
le
e. The area between [he river and the resulting lake is p eaently
barren with the exception of some tamarisk. There is 1 the or
no topsoil on that portion. The expense of hauling suf icient
topsoil and purchasing and planting trees on that area a
prohibitive.
f. The revised mining plan reflects more irregular shorel~nee.
The above addresses all of the issues raised in your letter.
