Parkdale Project • 5 • Reclamation Permit
1.7 Water Protection
Ground and surface water will be protected during mining and reclamation operations by
implementation of the project's Process and Stormwater Management Plan and Spitl
Prevention and Control Plan. Fuel storage areas will be regularly inspected for leaks or spills.
Other petroleum products will be stored in properly labeled tightly sealed containers and
regularly inspected. Equipment and vehicles will be regularly inspected for leaks and
any noted leaks will be promptly repaired.
Fertilizers: All fertilizer material will be furnished in waterproof or water-resistant bags.
Each bag must be marked with the weight and manufacturer's guaranteed analysis of the
contents showing the percentage of each ingredient contained. Solid fertilizer
will be worked into the soil upon application to reduce fertilizer content in stormwater
runoff.
Hazardous Waste: No hazardous waste materials will be disposed of on site.
1.8 Waste Disposal
All construction related wastes will be disposed of on-site in accord with applicable
regulations or hauled off-site to appropriate permitted disposal facilities.
