EXHIBIT "C"
~ ~ : ~ ~ ~ ; p L~iOo ~
278 Sawyer Drive, Suite 1A
Durango, Colorado 81301
(303)259-3731
December 12, 1986
Peter O'Connor / Steven Renner
Mined Land Reclamation Division
1313 Sherman St. Rm 423
Denver, Colorado 80203
RE: Water Da[a on Core Holes
Dear Peter,
Enclosed is the data we collected on core holes drilled in the summer
of 1985. We feel this information will address questions raised in your
letter dated 9/30/86.
We are submitting reports on holes ]2,13,14,15 & 16. Several other
core holes were drilled during this period, but due [o geologic formations
we were forced to use drilling mud and water. Therefore it was not possible
to determine at what depth we encountered water or the rate of flow.
The Division also requested that we identify the initial depth of the
hole at which we encountered water. The drilling reports we have submitted
indicate the depth of the hole at the time water was encountered.
Also enclosed is a map depicting the locations of the core holes in
question.
IE you have any further questions or comments feel free co contact'us.
Sinter/el~y,
y+u/J OG LL~~-
James 0. Hendricks
General Superintendent
