All ephemeral and intermittent streams found within the proposed <br />exploration area are classified as non-fishery streams by the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife. <br />Threatened or Endangered Species <br />No threatened or endangered species of flora or fauna are known <br />to exist in the area. This information was derived from the Green River- <br />Hams Fork Draft Environmental Impact Statement, published by the BLM in <br />1980. <br />Present Land Use <br />The present land use of the proposed exploration area is domestic <br />sheep grazing, during the summer months. <br />storic features <br />No districts, sites, buildings, structure or objects within the <br />proposed exploration area are listed on or are eligible for listing on the <br />National Register of Historic Places. <br />Cultural or Archaeological Resources <br />As stipulated in FCEL C-36445, which was issued for the area on <br />July 11, 1983, a Class 3 Cultural Resource Inventory has been conducted by <br />Metcalf-Zeir Archaeologists on over 15 miles of access road and over 50 <br />drill locations during 1933 and 1984. No significant cultural or <br />archaeological material was found, indicating the area probably received <br />only limited use. <br />If required, additional archaeological study on areas to be <br />disturbed will be completed prior to commencement of field operations. <br />-8- <br />
