All ephemeral and intermittent streams found within the proposed
exploration area are classified as non-fishery streams by the Colorado
Division of Wildlife.
Threatened or Endangered Species
No threatened or endangered species of flora or fauna are known
to exist in the area. This information was derived from the Green River-
Hams Fork Draft Environmental Impact Statement, published by the BLM in
1980.
Present Land Use
The present land use of the proposed exploration area is domestic
sheep grazing, during the summer months.
storic features
No districts, sites, buildings, structure or objects within the
proposed exploration area are listed on or are eligible for listing on the
National Register of Historic Places.
Cultural or Archaeological Resources
As stipulated in FCEL C-36445, which was issued for the area on
July 11, 1983, a Class 3 Cultural Resource Inventory has been conducted by
Metcalf-Zeir Archaeologists on over 15 miles of access road and over 50
drill locations during 1933 and 1984. No significant cultural or
archaeological material was found, indicating the area probably received
only limited use.
If required, additional archaeological study on areas to be
disturbed will be completed prior to commencement of field operations.
-8-
