Employee Education <br />Each employee, upon hiring, as part of new employee <br />training, will be instructed in preventive maintenance of <br />equipment and structures, good housekeeping procedures, <br />and daily inspections as outlined in the Eastside Mine <br />SWMP. Each employee, thereafter, will receive annual <br />SWMP refresher instruction. During employee instruction <br />Eastside Coal will stress preventive maintenance, good <br />housekeeping, daily inspections, and timely repairs as <br />outlined in the SWMP. <br />vii. Schedule for Construction of Additional Facilities <br />Construction of additional facilities is not anticipated <br />to increase the amount of diesel fuel, lubricating oil, <br />and waste oil or any other materials that could <br />contaminate state waters. <br />viii. Contractors and Agencies <br />Available outside contractors, agencies, or other sources <br />which could be utilized during clean-up in the event of <br />a spill are: Glenwood Springs Hazardous Material Unit, <br />Toby's Vacuum Truck Service, and Johnson Construction. <br />The emergency telephone numbers for these contractors are <br />listed in Appendix C. <br />ix. Annual Review <br />Eastside Coal Company will perform an annual review of <br />the SWMP and materials containment plan during the second <br />quarter of each calendar year. The annual review will <br />update the contingency plan and provide amendments for <br />the SWMP annual report as needed. If no conditions <br />and/or procedures are changed or require amending, the <br />annual review will indicate that no changes in the SWMP <br />are made. <br />_~ <br />16 <br />
