7ht discharge goes to the Harvey Gap Drainage, a tributary ro the Colorado River. The drainage is within Segment 4,
Lower Colorado River Sub-basin, Lower Colorado River Basin, found in the Closs flcations and Numeric Standards for
the Lower Colorado River Basin 3.7.0 (5 CCR 1002-8), as amended July 10, J995. Segment 4 is class fled for the
following uses: Recreation, Class 2; Aguatic Life, Class 2 (co(d); Agriculture. The Division reviewed this facility on May
6, 1997, and determined that the antidegradation presumption was overcome because discharge doer not occur during !ow
flow periods.
The activity involves discharge of surface runoff only from apost-mining area. No other sources of wastewater wiI[ be
discharged.
The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology permit number is C-84-063.
