SOILS INFORATATION
Refer to soils and vegetation map for the type, thickness and distribution
of soil on affected lands. The topsoil (peat) used in the revegetation program of
tailings deposition areas has proven extremely suitable for vegetation e.stablish-
went. A copy of analysis performed on this material is attached. The soils found
in borrow areas, construction areas, the mine and the mill site are also capable
of vegetation sustention. This can be evidenced by the continued invasion of natural
vegetation in those areas.
