~~ <br />EXi{ISIT C - Water Information (Copt) <br /> <br />The dependability of the water source for the milling operation is ,:xcellent. <br />This applies to both the physical and legal aspects of the source. The Boater is <br />obtained from a natural drainage system of the surrounding mountains. <br />The supply of water utilized in the reclamation program is sporadic. This <br />applies only to the physical aspect of the source. The water is obtained from a <br />creek running between Tailings Ponds No. 1 and No. 2. Utilization of the water is <br />for a gravity-feed irrigation system. During years of normal snowfall, the physical <br />dependability of this water source is excellent. During drought years, however, such <br />as the past year, the water level varies <br />precipitation. <br />The supply then depends totally on summer <br />The water rights for the reclamation program have not yet been granted. They <br />have been provisionally applied for, though. No senior water rights are being in- <br />rr- <br />~red due to utilization of this water for reclamation. J ~s <br />Milling <br />In the District in and for Water Division No. 7' <br />State of Colorado <br />Case No. W-352 <br />Ruling of the referee, dated August 10, 1971, a maximum <br />volume of 1000 gallons per minute was granted to Standard <br />Metals' Mayflower Mill. The historic date of water rights <br />• granted for this installation was December 31, 1930. <br />Reclamation <br />Water rights for the reclamation filed for were Absolute <br />rights of 75 gallons per minute and Conditional rights <br />for 375 gallons per minute. <br /> <br />_Z]_ <br /> <br />
