EXHIBIT A -Leval Description and Location Map The affected area will consist of a 9.50 acre portion located within the SEl/4, SW 1/4, Section 25, T35N R2 W, 6`" P.M., Archuleta ,County, Colorado. The site is located approximately 1.50 miles South of Pagosa Springs, Colorado off County Road 119 (the Old Light Plant Road) as shown on Exhibit A -Map I. The average elevation of the proposed area of operations is 7090 feet AMSL. Approximately five (5) acres of [he 9.5 total acres of the proposed permit azea is planned to be excavated. The remaining approximate 4.5 acres will be used for equipment staging and material stockpiling. The primary reason for the development of the aggregate deposit located within the proposed permit area is to provide roadbase gravel and subgrade fill material for existing and planned roads on the ranch property. It is estimated that a total of 100,000 tons of various grade material will be produced. The mining, processing and stockpiling operations at the proposed permit area will be completed during a single mobilization to the site. Approximately 40% of the material (40,000 tons} will be stockpiled outside the proposed permit boundary (to the west) on the adjacent Mask Ranch LLC. property. The remaining material will be made available for local commercial use and will be stockpiled within the proposed permit azea as shown on the Exhibit E -Mining Plan Map. The material stockpiles to be located inside the proposed permit area (approximately 60,000 tons) are planned to be reduced within l2 to 18 months and the azea seeded and reclaimed.
