I have reviewed the above application for adequacy and have the following
additional questions. You may respond on a point-by-point basis in the
order given below.

Exhibit B - Mining Plan
Z. What is the direction in which mining will progress?
2. What will be the approximate maximum depth to be mined?
3. Locate on your map (refer to the following exhibit C)
where topsoil wiZZ be stockpiled.
4. The soils descriptions you sent show typically 12"+ of good
topsoil in this area. Please salvage at least the upper 12".
5. Was the road included in the affected area (Rule 1.'Z)?
Is this to be a new road? What is the ultimate end use of
the road?
6. As a stabilization measure, plant the topsoil stockpile with
6 lbs./Acre Western wheatgrass PLS (pure live seed).
7. What is the anticipated Zife of the pit?
8. Will crushing occur?
9. What measures will be taken to inhibit erosion at the affected
area (berms, diversions, etc.) and prevent sedimentation to
the stream area to the east?
