PEERLESS RESOURCES, INC. <br />COAL GULCH MINE <br />RECLAMATION BONDING COST ESTIMATE <br />Reclamation bonding costs have been calculated for existing and proposed <br />disturbance at the Peerless Resources, Inc. "Peerless" Coal Gulch Mine. <br />All costs have been estimated based on actual material volumes, material <br />movement distances, and labor/equipment hours expected to be required to <br />complete each of the reclamation functions. The reclamation functions <br />include: <br />• <br />• <br />• • <br />• <br />• <br />Equipment Removal and Salvage <br />Structure Removal and Salvage or Demolition <br />Sealing and Backfilling Mine Portals <br />Backfilling Portal Face-up Area and Sedimentation <br />Pond/Catchment Basin <br />Site Recontouring and Grading <br />Ripping <br />Topsoil/Substitute Replacement <br />Seedbed Preparation and Contour Furrowing <br />Mulching <br />Seeding <br />Equipment, Tabor, supply, and miscellaneous costs are based on current <br />references and quotations. Supporting calculations and assumptions for <br />all costs are included. Selection of equipment units for cost <br />calculation purposes was based upon specific reclamation requirements. <br />Equipment sizing was the primary consideration and, although costs for <br />specific manufacturer models are presented, costs are intended to be <br />representative of equipment type and size. <br />The following reference materials have been utilized in development of <br />the Reclamation Cost Estimate: <br /> <br />-I- <br />
