NY7011 <br />The proposed development mining activities will be conducted on the Montana <br />lime, Jersey lime, and Carbonate lime placer mining claims, located in Section <br />3, Township 14 S, Range 77 W, Principal Meridian, Chaffee County, Colorado. <br />The Montana lime, Jersey lime, and Carbonate lime claims are owned by <br />• Commercial Minerals Inc., 136 North First Street, Salida, Colorado, 81201. <br />Frank A. Mansheim Sr. is the designated representative of the claim holders. <br />The claim holders have entered into a lease agreement with Colorado Lien <br />Company, P.O. Box 1961, Ft. Collins, Colorado, (493-7017), whereby <br />Colorado Lien Company will conduct development and mining work upon the <br />above described claims. <br />The work on the property which is proposed at the present time, and is hereby <br />declared in this Letter of Intent, consists of improving the existing road <br />from Highway 285-24 to the proposed crushing and stockpile area. This road <br />is shown on the accompanying map. In addition to improvements to the existing <br />road this road will be extended by new construction and :improvement of <br />existing roads to extend up to the quarry face as outlined on the map. The <br />entrance to Highway 285-24 will have to be improved and changed to the north <br />of the bridge over Trout Creek. This will be accomplished in agreement <br />with the Forest Service and the Department of Highways. <br />We propose to open a face on the east side of the deposit and proceed to quarry <br />in a westerly direction beginning at point B-C. The limestone will be removed <br />and hauled to the crushing and stockpile area for sizing and subsequent shipments. <br />The overburden from this area will be stockpiled and used to backfill the <br />quarried area in connection with the reclamation plan. At this same time the <br />necessary roads will be consturcted to reach point E. This area will be opened <br />along line E & F and continue in a easterly direction up the hill. This area <br />will be benched in 40 foot increments. <br />• It is our intent to cause minimal surface disturbance.
