Bedrock is encountered at about 47 inches. <br />The pedon is situated in a draw and the vegetation appears more lush. <br />Unnamed Series 51 -Very Deep Phase <br />The Unnamed series 51 -very deep phase consists of very deep, moderately well- <br />drained, loamy soils. They form in sandstone residuum on moderately sloping to <br />moderately steep draws, side-slopes of draws and swales. This unit occurs in Sections <br />19, 30 and 31, T.SN R.85 W at 7,000 to 8,100 feet elevation. <br />Typically, the surface horizon is a dark grayish brown loam about 5 inches.
