VENABLE PEDON PROFILE /I <br />• Laam 05-03-20-075 <br />A pedon (05-03-20-075) of the Venable loam, 0 to 2 percent slopes, afine-loamy <br />Curnulic Cryaquoll, 2,050 feet west, 2,040 feet north, southeast corner Section 14, <br />T.4N R.86W at 7,192 feet elevation is: <br />A I I 0-7 inches dark grayish brown (10 YR 4/2) loam, very dark brown <br />(10 YR 2/2) moist; moderate medium granular structure; slightly <br />hard, very friable; slightly sticky and slightly plastic; many tine <br />and medium roots; non-calcareous; pH 6.5; clear smooth boundary. <br />A12 7-25 inches dark grayish brown (10 YR 4/2) clay loam, very dark <br />brown (10 YR 2/2) moist; moderate coarse subangular blocky <br />breaking to moderate medium granular structure; slightly hard, <br />very friable; slightly sticky; plastic; common tine roots; non- <br />calcareous; pH 6.7; standing water at 25 inches. <br />• Due to the physiographic position, this pedon has a water table about 2 feet <br />from the surface.
