Based
on the information in the application, and my knowledge of the area proposed for mining, I do not feel
that this proposal has significant potential to negatively impact wildlife or wildlife habitat. As always,
care should be taken during mining to avoid excess erosion, siltation, or disturbance of more land than
necessary to accomplish the project. I would also suggest that the area be reasonably reclaimed following
mining and revegetated with appropriate plant species.
Should you feel there may be wildlife related issues with this application which I am not aware of, let me
know and I sill make a site visit.
Sincerely,
_~-,- ~~~
Shane Briggs
Habitat Biologist
cc: Larry Crooks, DWM
III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ~
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, James S.
