<br />MILEAGE: 60 <br />PROJECT: Haul Road G/Pond 005 DATE: 6/25/92 <br />LOCATION: Seneca IIW Mine, Routt Cty, CO TIME: 3.0 hrs. <br />CLIENT: Peabody Coal ENGR/TECH: BDL <br />WORK PERFORMED: <br />The excavation r_rPws placed and compacted on-site borrow <br />from the ruts above Sta. 60+00 and placed the fills at Sta. <br />5g+00 and Sta. dg+00. <br />As requested, we visited the project site on this date <br />to conduct nuclear density tests, 5:32 through 53:3, on the <br />material placed for the roadway embankment fills. <br />The excavation for the keyway, had been completed and <br />the majority of the soils exposed in the base of the keyway <br />consisted of stable, natural r_lays. Sandstone bedror_!c was <br />excavatc_d at the north and south ends of the keyway. We <br />advised Mr. Wainwright to scarify and re<;ompar_t the base of <br />the keyway, prior to placing any fill. <br />REMARKS: <br />The material tested generally met project <br />specifications. <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for results of <br />today's testing. <br />VERBAL DISCUSSIONS: <br />Mr. Tom Wainwright, of Peabody Coal, was notified of <br />r.oday's test results. <br />• <br />nr.nnRT '!~.. ~., <br />
