..~~ • ~ <br />1. The owner of the surface rights and sub-surface rights is <br />Lyle Smith of Port Garland, Colorado. <br />2. Attac}ied is a map showing the approximate location of the <br />gravel pit presently in existence as well as the access road <br />to the existing gravel pit. This caill also be the location <br />of the expanded gravel pit for which this Application is being <br />filed and the access road will also be used for the expanded <br />gravel pit. No new roads or access routes will be required. <br />3. This application is for the purpose of expanding upon the~,~r~~~l~r <br />present gravel pit and such expansion will be effected by digging8~ <br />out the existing pit with a front end loader around the entire <br />outside edge of the existing pit. The gravel will then be <br />screened and evashed at the site and then hauled out over the <br />access roads as referred to above. <br />4. 34-32-116(1)(b) will be complied with by pumping water from <br />an existing pond located adjacent to the premises into the <br />gravel pit, t}iereby creating a small reservoir pond which will <br />be used to support wildlife and possibly for fish. The water <br />will also be used for irrigation purposes. The area will not <br />be affected as to vegetation as there is presently no vegeta- <br />tion in the six mile acre upon which the pit is located. The <br />area is unfenced and will remain unfenced and is it not con- <br />templated that the wildlife in the area will be in any way <br />adversely effected. <br />~I .. <br />
