The information 's in <br />regard to the vegetation and reclamation sections of i9y~m'ng Fuel <br />Company's application. It is your understanding that this inf -r- <br />mation is being supplied to av,~oid unnecessary stipulatimn t~ <br />our mining permit. <br />1. LVyoming Fuel Company will,add 3.0 lbs PLS of bitterbrush to <br />the permanent seed mix. Wyoming Fuel Company will notipy the <br />^ regulatory authorities when Douglas rabbitbrush is available and <br />• is to be used .in the seed mix. <br />2. Prior to initiating grazing on the reclaimed land.Wy~ming <br />Fuel Company will submit a grazing plan to the regulatory~author- <br />ities. During the 9th and 10th years of the liability pe iod the <br />reference areas and reclaimed lands will be managed the s~me. <br />Grazing capacities of the reclaimed land will be based bnvegetative <br />analysis obtained during the vegetation monitoring progxayn. <br />Parameters such as species composition, cover, productivity and <br />plant vigor will be utilized to determine stocking rates.) <br />3. Any topsoil stockpiles which remain in place for a,p riod of <br />one (1) year or longer will be seeded with the permanent ~lant <br />species seed mix, i <br />4. The BLM has raised a question as to the competitive nature of <br />annual rye and has su99ested a reduction in the seeding, rte of <br />this species to 10 lbs PLS/acre. Wyoming Fuel Company wi 1 be <br />evaluating this during the 1982 growing season.
