TY~e <br />present facilities and those- outlined in Munger Carryon Permit No. <br />C-h~i~-21 are herein proposed for e~:pansion to support future <br />pro~:lucti~?n goals. Permanent structures, including bathhouses, <br />training center, office, lab, shop, warehouse and wash plant, must <br />be bunt to c~?rrespond to life-of-mine projections. <br />The present access road cc~nfiauration dictates that mine vehicles <br />traveling from Munger Canyon to MU=lane Canyon must use otate <br />HigY~way 1~:';+. TF~is is ur~acceptablc- for the types of vehicle-s which <br />• will be in use- at the mines. A road to connect both mines will be <br />built to reduce congestion arnj deterioration of Highway 127. <br />A series of belt conveyors will be constructed to minimize- the <br />truck: traffic on the mine roads and provide a more efficient method <br />of handling the coal produced at the mines. These conveyors will <br />transport coal from the rtiines to a central processing area which <br />will have rotary t~rea4::er (crustier), stockpiles, wasF~ plant and <br />load~~ut.
