White's West Rifle Pit; epplicetion fora reguler impact <br />(112) permit, adequacy <br />Pile: 881-6 <br />Dear Mr. Tingley: <br />I have reviewed your reply d mq adequacy letter of February 17, 1981, and Nava <br />some additional com~enta and questions with regard to the following. <br />1. Please indicnte the depth of topsoil to be applied to affected land remain- <br />ing above water, subsequent to mining. <br />2. Please submit a letter from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers verifging <br />that the wetlands would not require a 404 permit, in order to avoid any <br />possible future misunderstanding regarding thin concern. <br />3. Please indicate the n~ber of mature cottonwoods to be removed from affected <br />lands, and the number of nature cottonwoods on the proposed Bite which will <br />not require removal. <br />4.
