This sampling followed up on and completed the sampling begun in 1995 for a Phase II
bond release application. Data from this 1995-96 monitoring program was evaluated, summarized and
presented to CDMG in September of 1998 as part of a comprehensive Phase I and Phase II bond
release package. Vegetation data submitted with the bond release request demonstrated that cover and
plant communfty diversity are being met for all Phase II bond release blocks sampled. The data further
demonstrated that ground cover, plant diversity and woody stem density will all be achieved on all blocks
sampled for future Phase III bond release applications.
7.2 Grazing of Reclaimed Lands
No cattle grazing occurted on Trapper reGaimed lands during 1998, nor is grazing planned for 1997.
7.3 1996 Revegetation Seed Mixes
Section 3.8.3.5 of Trapper's Mining and ReGamation permit requires that the Division be notified of the
seed mixes proposed to be used in 1997 (Tables 1-1 through 1-4).
The seed mi~dures presented in Tables 1-1 through 1-4 were approved with Technical Revision TR-74
and are presented in this document for informational purposes only.
7.4 Trapper Mine Facilities
In 1996, no changes were made to Trapper Mine facilities.
r~~~n
•
