I realize that the US GS Quad indicates existing slope of no less than
3:1 and I can understand the staff Civil Engineer's question. It must
be remembered, however, that the USGS quads give a goad general indication
of topography but are not necessarily entirely accurate for a small 6-
acre parcel. I believe that your visits to the site would confirm the
fact that the area Quillen Company intends to commence operations is much
closer to vertical than 3 to 1.
7. Quillen Company will agree to adopt your recommendations for reseeding
rather than those of the S.C.S. and will use a mixture of Luna Pubescent,
Intermediate Wheatgrass, Thick Spike Wheatgrass and a small amount of
Sweet Clover at a rate of 10# per acre.
I hope this clears up the questions
mation.
Give me a call if you need more infor-
Cordially,
~~
Lloyd V.
