Included below is the notice that was published in the Pueblo Chieftain today and will be published once a week for the next four weeks. Public Notice GCC Rio Grande, Inc., 11783 State Highway 337, Tijeras, New Mexico, 87059, has filed with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, an application to obtain a "112 Construction Materials Reclamation Pernut" for the Red Rock Plant & Limestone Mine located approximately 6 miles south of the City of Pueblo, in Pueblo County. The location ofthe proposed Red Rock Plant & Limestone Mine is Townships 13, 23, 24, and 25 of Township 22 South, Range 65 West and Townships 18, 19, and 30 of Township 22 South, Range 64 West. The Red Rock Plant & Limestone Mine is proposed to commence operation in late fall of 2002. The permit application requests a 50 year life of the project. The proposed future use ofthe land is rangeland purposes. A copy ofthe application is available for public inspection at the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 215 west l Om St., Pueblo, Colorado, 81002. All comments on the application must be submitted to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, by May 2, 2002.
