The applicants propose to be able to p~_imp the <br />water bac4:: directly into the nearby Arkansas River. A unique <br />theor;v considering the mater table in the area is uiithin ~~ to C6 <br />inches tram the top of the ground. <br />The reputa+.ion of the applicants has been questioned as to their <br />lack: of responsibility in the past for cleaning ~_ip fuel spills, <br />and' ho~•i that ~=ol_i1d affect the local and ~nigratdry uiildlife and <br />the gl_tality of mater in the area down river. <br />Colorado State High~•iay 194 is the route their trucker will have to <br />use, as it is the only thoroughfare available from their proposed <br />location. This highway is used by the agricultural people in the <br />area, school children uialk:iny to and from buses, people riding <br />horses, snd bicyclist=.
