The File #
isM-99-018.
The rock pit is located in Moffat County, Colorado. We live within I mile of said nick
pit and have 20 years of experience with rock a Ictraction pits in the specific rack
formation. Neilson Construction had a rock extraction pit located within one half mile
of the subject Wagner Construction Inc, Wagne r Rock pit Neilson Construction used
explosives in their rock extraction proccsa. The tuck in said formation is so dea5e, the
explosive shock waves broke the cement floor of our basement. Neilson itnmedistely
discontinued using explosives and there were no more cracks in our basement
The rock extracted from the Wagner pit is idemRCal to the Neilson pit It is the same
rock formation, the same density of rock, the sFme everything. Therefore, for the
security of my own home, I will accept ao lesll from the Colorado Division of MinetaLc
end Geology than an outright ban on arry type of explosive blasting.
~ 02
